The complete schedule for the 2024 men’s T20 World Cup, hosted in the USA, has been unveiled by the ICC.

The opening match will feature the United States facing off against Canada at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas on June 2nd.

ICC T20 World Cup: The Indian cricket team, famously known as the Men in Blue, is set to clash with their long-standing rivals, Pakistan, in the group stage match scheduled for June 9th at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.

ICC T20 World Cup 2024 The semifinal matches will take place in Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago, with the final showdown set to unfold at the historic Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.

What is the format of the 2024 T20 World Cup?

The 2024 T20 World Cup format begins with 20 teams being initially sorted into four groups. Following this stage, the top two teams from each group will progress to the Super Eight stage. Subsequently, the top four teams from the Super Eight stage will advance to the semi-final round.

What time will the matches start in India?

There are five kick-off times as per IST as the matches will begin at (5:00 AM, 6:00 AM, 8:00 PM, 10:30 PM, 12:30 AM).

ICC Mens T20 World Cup 2024

3 venues in the USA and 6 in the Caribbean will be used for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 as the groups and fixtures for the ninth edition of the 20-over showcase were confirmed on Friday, January 5.

• Ten out of 20 teams will play their first match of the 29-day tournament in the USA, with 16 contests to be held in Lauderhill, Dallas, and New York, and the blockbuster clash between India and Pakistan scheduled for the new Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in Long Island on 9 June.
• 41 matches will be played in the Caribbean across six different islands, with the semifinals in Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana and the Final match in Barbados.
• The T20 World Cup 2024 will commence on 1 June with co-hosts USA taking on arch-rival Canada, while fellow hosts the West Indies will play Papua New Guinea in Guyana on the second day of group play.
